Wolf Moon Digital Print

Categories: , Tags:

This painting was inspired by our household’s love of the new holiday Wolfenoot. Invented a few years back by an at-the-time seven year old, Wolfenoot celebrates wolves and the things wolves love—the moon, a good meal. The kid who came up with it is from the southern hemisphere, so I’m sure he didn’t intend his November 23 this way, but in our househol, it’s also become a late harvest/early winter celebration. We bake a cake, roast a meal, have a scavenger hunt all over our nice cozy house, enjoy a long snowy walk under the bright full moon.

This is not “official” Wolfenoot art and we do not represent the creator or his family. (We’re just fans!) If you’re looking for the official Wolfenoot website, you can find that here.

Printed using archival inks on thick, textured paper milled from Forest Stewardship Council certified fibers by a local paper company, before being hand cut and folded at our Wolf Hill Press studio.
